Jill Rose, CFRE, CDE®, aPHR, currently serves as the Corporate and Foundation Relations Liaison at Amara, a nonprofit focused on supporting children and families impacted by the child welfare system. With extensive experience in nonprofit executive management and development consulting since 2014, Jill has held various significant roles, including Development and Communications Director at PCAF, where leadership was provided to a staff of over 30 and comprehensive equity work was advanced. Jill has also held leadership positions at multiple organizations such as Casa Latina Seattle and Harmony Hill Retreat Center, demonstrating a consistent commitment to supporting marginalized communities and improving the quality of life for those in need. An alumna of The Evergreen State College, Jill possesses a BA in Sociology, Community Development, Social Work, and Cross-Cultural Counseling.

Amara is committed to positive long-term outcomes for children and families. We drive systemic change, promote healing, racial and LGBTQIA+ equity, by offering programs and services to families engaged in foster care, and to adoptees and families, post-adoption. Foster Care Services: We guide, prepare, and support foster families to ensure that every kid in foster care can be placed in a stable, loving home. Post Adoption Services: Our Post-Adoption services support Amara adoptees and their families through community-building, mentorship, education, and more. Amara welcomes youth, adults, and families into our program regardless of marital status, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, home ownership, income, or education.
