Vikas Kakkar

Vikas Kakkar has a diverse work experience. Vikas is currently the Founder & CEO of Amara.ai, a role they started in December 2019. Prior to that, in 2019, they worked as a Seed Investor.

Their previous experience includes being the Founder & CEO of Hirexp, a company focused on improving recruitment processes in Asia, from October 2016 onwards. Vikas also served as an Advisor - International Business at BeatRoute | Easy-to-use CRM SFA for Field Teams from May 2017 to September 2017.

Vikas Kakkar worked at Knowlarity - Cloud Communications from 2013 to 2017, holding various positions such as Business Consultant - International Markets from November 2016 to May 2017, Head of International Business - New Markets from April 2015 to October 2016, and Head - International Business (APAC) from October 2013 to April 2015.

Vikas also worked as a Business Consultant at uniRow Inc from June 2016 to October 2016. Earlier in their career, Vikas Kakkar was the Founder & Director of Eazymost Communications from July 2012 to March 2015. Vikas served as the Business Head - Enterprise at Knowlarity Communications from May 2010 to June 2012, where they gained expertise in enterprise and channel development in the telecom industry.

Before that, Vikas Kakkar was an Associate Partner and Founder Member at Pramerica Life Insurance from September 2008 to May 2010, where they established a strong client base and achieved high sales performance. Vikas also worked as a Manager at Aviva Life Insurance from January 2008 to August 2008.

Vikas Kakkar attended DIT University from 2002 and 2006, where they obtained a B.Tech degree in Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, they also completed a Management Development Program in April 2009 at Prudential Financial.
