Brendan Staunton

Brendan Staunton is the CEO of Amara Therapeutics, which focuses on innovating affordable care in the emerging field of digital therapeutics for pelvic and bladder health. With a strong background in medical device innovation and health commercialization, Brendan served as a Principal Investigator for the Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Fund at the National University of Ireland, Galway, aiming to enhance treatment success rates in pelvic health. Prior experience includes participation in the CIMIT/EIT Health Accelerator and various roles in product management and talent acquisition within the healthcare sector. Brendan's educational qualifications include an MBA from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Master's in BioInnovation, alongside executive education in leading digital transformation at Harvard Business School.
