Kevin Welch has been working as a reporter for the Amarillo Globe-News since 1998. Prior to that, Kevin was self-employed in publishing, ranching, and farming. With a BA in English from The University of Texas at Arlington, Kevin has covered a variety of beats including government, energy, water issues, environment, agriculture, and civil and criminal cases. Welch is known for not just attending press conferences but truly diving into their investigative reporting.
