Salvador López Orland

Salvador López Orland is an accomplished executive currently serving as the VP General Manager for Spain and Portugal at Amarin Corporation since March 2022. Simultaneously, Salvador holds academic positions as a professor of strategy and leadership at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR) since September 2023. Prior to joining Amarin, Salvador gained extensive experience at Mundipharma International Limited, where roles included General Manager for various regions and legal, compliance, alliance management, and HR director from February 2013 to June 2022. Salvador also worked as Senior Legal Counsel at Janssen Europe, Middle East & Africa and the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson between November 2008 and February 2013. Earlier experience includes positions at Garrigues and ECIJA, where Salvador served as Legal Counsel and Attorney, respectively. Salvador's education includes an MBA from IE Business School and advanced studies in business administration and management at IESE Business School and IE Business School planned for 2025, along with a Master’s degree in business law from Universidad Nebrija.
