Abinaya Y. is a Senior Consultant in Bioinformatics at Amaris Consulting since May 2022, having progressed through various roles including Team Lead and Experienced Consultant. Prior experience includes a Bioinformatics Research Associate position at the University of Guelph, where Abinaya developed an R Shiny Application for environmental DNA analysis, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant role, contributing to a joint research project with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Additional experience includes positions in communications and project coordination at WatSolve Consulting Group and Capital One, respectively. Abinaya holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Guelph and an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Business with a Biotechnology specialization from the University of Waterloo.
