Moro Brian

Head of Transportation at Amazima Ministries

Moro Brian has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Moro started their career as an intern at the Electricity Regulatory Authority in 2014. In 2015, they gained more experience as an intern at the Uganda Broadcasting Company, where they learned about operating and repairing electronics in television and radio stations.

In 2016, Moro worked as an intern at the rural electrification agency in the department of Investment Planning and Promotion. Here, they supervised the growth of the energy sector in rural areas through the construction of new lines.

Moro joined Jumia Travel and Jumia Food Uganda in 2017 as a Brand Ambassador. Moro then moved to Jumia Uganda in 2018, where they held various roles including Dispatch and Fleet Manager, Dispatch Manager, and Service Dispatcher. In these positions, they were responsible for order processing, delivery agent management, capacity planning, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.

From 2020 to 2022, Moro worked at Jumia Uganda as the Head of Logistics. Moro'sresponsibilities included leading the Fleet Management, logistics, dispatch, and compliance teams. Moro also handled procurement and logistics management for on-demand services and was responsible for planning and budget forecasting for fleet logistics and procurement.

Most recently, Moro joined Amazima Ministries in 2022 as the Head of Transportation.

From 2011 to 2016, Moro Brian attended Makerere University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Moro'sfield of study specialized in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
