Augusto Drumond

Augusto Drumond currently serves as Principal Legal Counsel - IP EU at Amazon since October 2022, focusing on intellectual property matters. Previously, Augusto served as Corporate Counsel IP at Amazon beginning in April 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Intellectual Property Counsel at Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) from May 2018 to March 2019, and IP Counsel at Philips Lighting from January 2016 to May 2018, where contributions included the global renaming of the company and launching various lighting brands. Augusto began a career in intellectual property law as an intern at Plasseraud, working up to Senior Counsel before leaving in January 2016. Educational qualifications include multiple master's degrees in law from prestigious institutions, specializing in private law, public and European law, and intellectual property. Additionally, Augusto completed the ETMD program at the EUIPO Academy.
