Dan Allen

Dan Allen is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in system architecture and sensor development across various industries, including healthcare, IoT, and security. With a background that includes roles as CTO at Medic.Life and Principal System Architect at Renesas Electronics, Dan has led initiatives in sensor and IoT system development, medical algorithms, and optical sensor concepts. Dan's expertise extends to working with advanced technologies at Sandia National Laboratories, where novel terahertz quantum cascade lasers were designed, and at Amazon, where Dan currently focuses on system architecture for Amazon Ring security devices. Dan holds a B.S. in Physics from Brigham Young University and a Ph.D. in Physics from UC Santa Barbara.
