David Mahmarian is an experienced UX and interaction designer, currently serving as a Senior Design Lead for the Alexa Accessibility team at Amazon. With a strong background in creating accessible products for individuals with disabilities, David has led various initiatives to enhance Alexa's capabilities and overall user experience. Previous roles include positions at Google, where collaboration with the Material Design group focused on web accessibility for users with autism spectrum disorder, and at SapientRazorfish, where David built a prototyping practice and worked on significant client accounts. David has also contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the School of Visual Arts. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes International-Minnesota and a Master's Degree in Interaction Design from the School of Visual Arts.
