David Shepherd

David Shepherd, MBA, PMP, has extensive experience in the aviation industry, with a career spanning over three decades. Positions held include Director of Maintenance at Southwest Airlines, Senior Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering at Vueling Airlines, and Director of Aircraft Induction and Heavy Maintenance at Allegiant Air. David has also contributed to Alaska Airlines and Skybus Airlines, focusing on aircraft maintenance and engineering operations. As an independent consultant with Shepherd Aviation Consulting, expertise in aircraft acquisition and technical consultancy was provided. Most recently, David serves as a Senior Program Manager for airframe and freighter conversions at Amazon, following a role as Technical Asset Manager at Boeing Capital Corporation. David holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Arlington and a BS from Saint Louis University.
