Jing Dong is an experienced tech lead and architect in the field of software engineering, with a strong background in microservices, cloud computing, and FinTech. Jing held the position of Staff Software Engineer at WePay from 2019 to 2021, focusing on projects involving Docker, Kubernetes, and APIs. Prior to that, Jing worked at VMware as a Staff Software Engineer, contributing to Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) initiatives. Jing's career also includes a role as Tech Lead at Amazon, and experience with Robinhood and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. Additionally, Jing served as a Computer Science faculty member at the University of Texas at Dallas from 2002 to 2010, where extensive research was conducted, resulting in over 80 published papers and successful supervision of graduate students.
