Kennon Speciale

Kennon Speciale is an environmental and project management leader with a decade of mission-oriented service in the United States Marine Corps. They have a strong foundation in public service, having earned two Associate degrees and a Bachelor's degree in Fire Science and Occupational Safety, and are currently pursuing a dual Master’s program in Public Policy and Social Sector Leadership at the University of Chicago. Kennon's military experience includes diverse roles, such as Senior Drill Instructor and Firefighter, where they led safety inspections and conducted training sessions. Currently, they serve as a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy, focusing on issues related to generational wealth and inequality, and aim to return to the federal sector with a focus on emergency management and veteran advocacy.
