Kyle Woodward, Ph.D., is an accomplished economist with a diverse background in academia and industry. Currently serving as an economist at Amazon since August 2025, Kyle also holds the position of principal at ASSIGN GROUP. Previous experience includes roles as a machine learning scientist and auction economist at Apple, and as an assistant professor of economics at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Additional positions held encompass senior data scientist in economics at Gopuff, manager of data analysis at Intuit, and various roles in data analysis and teaching at academic institutions, including Stanford University and Phillips Academy. Kyle earned a PhD and a Master of Arts in Economics from UCLA after obtaining a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, and Computer Science from Stanford University.
