Liu He

Liu Liu is an Applied Scientist at Amazon since January 2025, focusing on advancing MLLM In-The-Wild. Previous experience includes an Applied Scientist Intern role at Amazon, where a visual instruction data generation pipeline for object states and spatial reasoning was proposed. Liu also interned at Baidu USA, contributing to a collaborative vision LLM agentic workflow for 3D generation and simulation. As a Research Assistant at Purdue University, Liu worked on projects regarding urban building structures and realistic city generation. Additional internships include a role at Microsoft on document layout and text generation, and a research assistant position at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, investigating the transition from conventional machine learning to deep learning in satellite image processing. Liu completed a PhD in Computer Science at Purdue University and holds a Master's degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's from Wuhan University.
