Maruthy Vedam

Maruthy Vedam is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in silicon development, currently serving as the Head of Silicon for Project Kuiper at Amazon since 2025. Prior to Amazon, Maruthy was a Custom Chip Development Executive at Google, where notable achievements included delivering AI/ML Tensor Processing Units and Video Accelerators for data centers. Maruthy held significant roles at Intel Corporation, including Senior Director of Engineering, where leadership was pivotal in integrating engineering functions post-Altera acquisition and enhancing SoC development processes. Maruthy's career began at Qualcomm, managing a global engineering team and overseeing 3G/4G modem developments. An early academic role as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison complements a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution.
