Mike Hill

Mike Hill is the First Nations Lead at Amazon Australia, where they drive digital inclusion and advocate for Indigenous digital rights, including data sovereignty. They chair the Amazon Australia Reconciliation Action Plan and focus on building meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organizations. Previously, Mike held various roles, including Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services and Senior Data Scientist at the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Mike earned a Master of Business Administration from The University of Western Australia and currently serves on the Indigenous Science, National Collections and Digital Infrastructure Indigenous Reference Group at CSIRO.
