Neeraj Sood

Neeraj Sood is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in economics and public policy. Currently serving as an Amazon Scholar at Amazon since September 2021, Neeraj maintains a long-standing position as a Professor at the University of Southern California since September 2009. In addition to this role, Neeraj has held the title of Vice Dean for Research at the Sol Price School of Public Policy since July 2015. Neeraj's research expertise is further evidenced by a Research Associate position at the National Bureau of Economic Research since July 2010. Previous positions include Vice Dean for Research and Faculty Affairs at USC's Sol Price School from July 2019 to October 2021, Director of Research at the Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics from July 2013 to July 2018, and Senior Economist at RAND Corporation from September 2007 to September 2009. Neeraj began a professional career as an Accountant at Arthur Andersen in 1994. Educational achievements include a PhD in economics from Pardee RAND Graduate School and a Master of Arts in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
