Paul Barclay

Paul Barclay, Ph.D., is a Principal UX Researcher at Amazon, where they have been enhancing user experiences since 2023, following their role as a Senior UX Researcher from 2020 to 2023. Prior to their tenure at Amazon, Paul was a Presidential Fellow at the University of Central Florida, where they managed and executed significant research projects in human factors and usability from 2015 to 2019. Paul holds a Ph.D. in Human Factors and Cognitive Psychology from the University of Central Florida, as well as a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English from the University of Houston. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Psychiatric Specialist at MHMRA of Harris County and as a Research Coordinator at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
