Pengcheng Fu

Pengcheng Fu is a senior applied scientist specializing in machine learning, with a deep-rooted background in computational physics. They have held positions at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a deputy group leader and research scientist, focusing on applying machine learning to data assimilation and analyzing complex datasets for energy applications. After working as a postdoctoral scholar at UC Davis, Pengcheng transitioned to Amazon where they currently serve as a senior applied scientist. They earned a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and hold advanced degrees from Tsinghua University.
