Penny Shao

Penny Shao is currently a Corporate Counsel at Amazon, a position they have held since 2023. They previously worked as an Associate and Senior Foreign Legal Consultant at Kirkland & Ellis from 2016 to 2023, where they were part of the investigation and litigation team. Penny completed internships at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and Morrison Foerster in 2015. They hold a Master of Laws (LLM) from Harvard University, obtained in 2020, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Juris Master (J.M.) from Peking University, completed in 2016, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Zhejiang University, which they finished in 2012.
