Rushi Surampudi

Rushi Surampudi has a diverse background in research, software engineering, and leadership, with experience spanning various organizations. Rushi began as a Team Captain at the American Cancer Society before taking roles as a Research Assistant at both Oregon Health & Science University and Pacific University. Rushi later served as the Financial Director at the Brain Exercise Initiative - UTD, overseeing fundraising and partnerships while also functioning as Hospice Lead. Additional experience includes roles at Amazon, dpconsolutions as a Software Engineer Intern, and a position within Scell.AI specializing in ML/AI and Data Visualization. As an Industry Coordinator at AIS UTD, Rushi established contacts with AI-driven companies and progressed to Director of Industry, managing a team of Industry Coordinators. Rushi also held the position of Vice President of Conference Events and served as President of Oregon HOSA. Educational pursuits include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and ongoing Master’s studies in Artificial Intelligence at The University of Texas at Austin.
