Sunita Mishra M.D.

Sunita Mishra MD, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Amazon since January 2023. Previously, Sunita held the position of Chief Executive at Care Medical from March 2020 to December 2022. From March 2015 to March 2020, Sunita was the Chief Executive of Express Care at Providence St. Joseph Health, where a consumer-focused and technology-driven healthcare experience was designed for patients across seven states. Sunita's extensive experience includes roles such as VP of Express Care Services and Consumer Innovation, Medical Director of Innovation, and board member at Provider Solutions + Development. Sunita was also the founder of An Apple a Day, an initiative aimed at health education in India, and worked as a Primary Care Provider at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Sunita's educational background includes an MBA from The Wharton School and an MD from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, along with degrees in Political Science and Biochemistry.
