Tom Byford

Tom Byford is a Safety Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer at Amazon, responsible for enhancing Health & Safety standards within the department. They work collaboratively with EU and Central RME Safety and Local WHS teams to prioritize technician safety. Prior to this, Tom managed a team of RME Engineers and has extensive experience in diagnosing and rectifying complex equipment issues. With a background in the British Army and roles at companies like Toyota and Jaguar Land Rover, Tom has developed a wealth of engineering expertise, particularly in electrical, mechanical, and control systems. Tom holds the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety and NEBOSH Fire Safety.
