Vijay Shanmugavelu

Vijay Shanmugavelu is an accomplished technology executive with over 25 years of experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development for Devices Technologies at Amazon since February 2020, Vijay previously held leadership roles at HP, including Director of Engineering and Product Management and Senior Engineering Manager, from March 2010 to February 2020. Earlier career experience includes a managerial position in software development at Cognizant Technology Solutions from June 1998 to March 2010. Vijay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, and completed an Executive Education program in Building Innovative Leaders at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2020.
