Wade Hennessey is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and system architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at Amazon since February 2017, Wade focuses on optimizing the usability of Real-Time Garbage Collector (RTGC) within Amazon's production environment while also actively developing an advanced RTGC for multi-core systems since August 2015. Wade's prior roles include CTO and VP of Engineering at both Kontiki/Kollective and as the founder of Kontiki, where the transition to a SaaS/cloud-based Enterprise Content Distribution Network was a significant achievement.
