Ye Tang

Ye Tang has experience as a Software Engineer at Amazon, where work involved developing a generative AI shopping assistant and building a dynamic model routing and post-processing system for a large language model. Prior to that, Ye served as an SDE Intern, designing and implementing features for a Data Ingestion Pipeline using Java, SQL, and Scala. Ye also worked as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Michigan, focusing on physical feature extraction from complex images and implementing GANs for MR image deblurring. As a Student Research Assistant at Microsoft Research Asia, Ye introduced Generative Adversarial Networks for visual representation learning and contributed to improvements in medical image classification. Ye holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree from Beihang University, with an impressive GPA of 3.91 out of 4.0.
