Joe Pierce has a diverse background in various legal and corporate roles. Joe is currently serving as an Independent Director for Cullen Frost Bank. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisory Director for Crawford Group/Enterprise Holdings Inc. and as the Senior Vice President & General Counsel for AMB Sports + Entertainment. Joe also held positions as the Chief Legal Officer and Vice President & General Counsel for the Charlotte Hornets. Before that, they were an SVP, Associate General Counsel at Bank of America and a Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs at Comcast Sports Group. Joe started their career as an Associate General Counsel at Jacksonville Jaguars, Ltd. and a Corporate Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Joe began their professional journey as an Investment Analyst at Northern Trust Corporation.

Joe Pierce received their Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from the University of Pennsylvania between 1994 and 1998. Joe also attended the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and The Wharton School, though the specific dates are unknown. Prior to that, Joe obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance from Georgetown University.
