David George

David George is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Ambac UK Real Assets, Portfolio and Risk Management since April 2005. In this role, David leads Portfolio & Risk Management for Ambac Assurance UK Limited. Previously, David held the position of Director in the Infrastructure Finance Group, where responsibilities included underwriting funding for infrastructure and real assets in capital markets. Prior to joining Ambac, David worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland from April 2000 to March 2005 as an Associate Director in Infrastructure Finance, overseeing senior debt arrangements across the UK, Europe, and North America. David began his career at NatWest Bank from January 1997 to March 2000 as a Manager in PFI/PPP, focusing on lending and managing exposure to UK PFI/PPP projects.
