Joan Lamm-Tennant

Joan Lamm-Tennant, PhD, currently serves as the Director and Chair of the Risk and Underwriting Committee at Africa Speciality Risk and holds multiple advisory and leadership roles across various organizations, including Strategic Advisor at American Family Build / Buy Studio, Member of the Board of Advisors at Brewer Lane Ventures, and Director at Ambac and Equitable. Previously, Joan was the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Blue Marble Microinsurance and held the position of Chief Economist and Risk Strategist at Guy Carpenter. With a PhD in Financial Economics and Investment from the Texas McCombs School of Business, Joan has demonstrated extensive expertise in risk management, governance, and insurance industries.
