Jenn-Yuan Tsai

Jenn-Yuan Tsai began their work experience as a Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard in 1998, where they worked until 2001. Jenn-Yuan then joined Afara WebSystems as an MTS from 2001 to 2002. In 2002, Tsai joined Sun Microsystems as a Staff Engineer until 2004. From 2004 until now, they have held various roles at Ambarella Inc, including Senior Director of Architecture and Microcode, and currently serves as the VP of Architecture & Tools.

Jenn-Yuan Tsai completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1992 and 1998. Prior to that, between 1987 and 1989, Tsai obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. Furthermore, from 1983 to 1987, Tsai earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
