Joey Li

Joey Li has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering roles. Joey started their career as a Software Engineer at Intervideo Inc, where they developed PC-based video editing tools. Later, they joined Broadcom Inc as a Software Engineering Manager, working on multimedia algorithm development and integration of various applications. Joey then moved to Magiccom Inc as a Senior Manager, contributing to the software development of platforms for feature phone market. After that, they worked at AugustaTek, Inc as a Senior Director, focusing on software development for smart phone business. Currently, Joey is employed at Ambarella Inc as a Principal Engineer, where they are involved in software development for IP-security/sports/wearable cameras, architecture and implementation of computer vision frameworks, and inter-communication between different operating systems. Prior to their work experience, Joey also worked at the University of South California as a Post Doc, conducting research on 3D compression technology and MPEG4 compression algorithm improvement. Overall, Joey Li has a strong background in software development, algorithm implementation, and system integration in the technology industry.

Joey Li completed a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China from 1989 to 1993. Subsequently, they pursued a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California from 1993 to 1998.
