Vedant Koranne

Vedant Koranne is currently a System Software Engineer II at Ambarella Inc, having joined in May 2022. Previously, Vedant served as a Software Engineering Intern - Imaging at GEO Semiconductor, Inc. from January to May 2022, where responsibilities included developing new metrics for HDR measurement and tuning fixed focus cameras using ISP pipelines. Vedant also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology from September 2020 to January 2022, focusing on semantic segmentation of smoke clouds from RGB video imagery and hardware Trojan detection using machine learning in a DARPA-sponsored project. Additionally, Vedant has experience as a Software Engineer at Capgemini from July 2019 to August 2020. Vedant holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering.
