As a key member of Ambassador’s corporate leadership team, Jim Sanders, helps guide the direction of the organization and its vision, while heading up the creative and technical side of their interaction with represented ministries and radio stations nationwide.
Jim also manages Ambassador’s staff of producers and is himself a gifted script-writer and announcer.
A member of the Audio Engineering Society since 1980, Jim is a co-founder of the Christian Radio Consortium established in 1997 to address issues effecting digital satellite delivery to the Christian radio industry. He regularly conducts technical seminars and writes articles for national industry publications.
Active in the industry for more than 40 years, Jim is currently a member of the board of the National Religious Broadcasters and served many years as a member of the Executive Committee of that organization.
Jim is a 1978 graduate of Biola University with a major in communications and from the late 1970s to 1998 served as a Production Assistant for the Day of Discovery TV ministry filmed in Cypress Gardens, Florida.
He graduated in 2003 with a Master of Business Administration from USC’s prestigious Gordon S. Marshall School of Business.
Under Jim’s leadership in 2007, Ambassador launched “Amb-OS”—the Satellite File Transfer Protocol (S-FTP). It was developed in partnership with Ambassador and Focus on the Family to provide Christian radio stations reliable, guaranteed audio delivery via an Internet connection—essentially propelling Christian radio into the next generation of program delivery.
