Tim Newcome has over 35 years of experience in the technology industry. In 1978, they co-founded Newcome Sound, a business that designed, fabricated, and commissioned high-power portable sound systems for the live music concert industry. This business grew to approximately 20 employees. In 1986, they co-founded I-LAN, Inc., a business that focused on computer local-area-network operating systems. In 1988, they founded Newcome Corp., which transitioned from audio and video systems design to fixed-site installation work throughout the United States. This business grew to revenues in the 10s of millions of dollars and a peak employment of 115 employees. In 2003, they founded Projevity Systems, a software company that commercialized the workflow management tool developed internally to manage the growing operations of Newcome Electronic Systems. In 2005, they founded BlueFolder, Inc., a web-enabled version of Projevity called BlueService. In 2014, they became President & Co-Founder of Ambassador Software Works, a startup that created business plans, negotiated license for IP from The Ohio State University's Office of Technology Commercialization, and raised equity funding through a Series A raise round.

Tim Newcome attended The Ohio State University from 1973 to 1978, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
