Akshay Joshi is the founder of Ambee, an environmental intelligence company delivering hyper-local data on air quality, pollen, weather, and fire. They led Phoenix Racing's electric vehicle powertrain program (2015-2016), designing testing layouts, safety and release systems, test plans, experiments (DOE), throttle control systems, KERS-style regenerative algorithms, and torque vectoring for a single-motor drivetrain. At Delphi (2014-2015), they designed a new testing circuit increasing accuracy by over 100% and contributed to a patent filing for a pressure dissipation method, alongside large-scale data analysis and product development work. In 2019, they were accelerated by Google's Launchpad Accelerator India and by Techstars to support Ambee's growth. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Motorsport Engineering from Coventry University (2012-2014).
