Weike Li

Weike Li currently serves as Japan Director COO/CFO at Amber Group, overseeing business management, planning, operations, and finance since July 2021. Key achievements include the acquisition and post-merger integration of DeCurret, a licensed crypto asset exchange, and the introduction of the localized product, WhaleFin. Prior to Amber Group, Weike held various roles at SoftBank from November 2016 to December 2021, including Japan Business Director, where expertise in strategic investment and project management led to the establishment of joint ventures and significant corporate acquisitions. Earlier experience includes positions in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank, focusing on M&A and financial analysis. Weike holds a Master of Pacific International Affairs from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in North American Studies from Osaka University.
