Shawn Carlson

Shawn Carlson has a diverse work experience starting from their most recent role as a Field Applications Engineer at AmberGen. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at the same company. Before joining AmberGen, Shawn worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island, where they conducted independent research on inserting gold nanoparticles into living algae to create phosphate and nitrate biosensors. Shawn utilized Raman Spectroscopy to observe low-level nitrate concentrations. Prior to their research role, Shawn briefly worked as an Assistant Manager at Manchester Bath & Tennis Club.

Shawn Carlson pursued their education at the University of Rhode Island from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
