Dr. Jean-Luc Kouassi serves as the Head of the Forestry, Environment and Rural Engineering Research Unit at Institut National Polytechnique Félix HOUPHOUËT-BOIGNY de Yamoussoukro since July 2022, where responsibilities include developing and implementing research programs and mentoring staff and students. Concurrently, Dr. Kouassi holds the position of Technical Coordinator at AGRIFORLAND SARL and serves as a National Fire Management Expert with AMBERO Consulting GmbH. Previous roles include Programme Officer at the Ministry of Water and Forests and Environmental Consultant at UNIQUE forestry and land use GmbH. With a strong educational background in Agricultural Sciences and Rural Engineering, Dr. Kouassi has extensive experience in research, teaching, and project management in forestry, agroforestry, and ecology, including notable contributions to scientific publications and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
