Sekou Amadou Maiga

Sekou Amadou Maiga is a Project Manager at AMBERO Consulting Gesellschaft mbH since May 2024, focusing on decentralization, institutional support, civil society promotion, and organizational development. Previously, from October 2017 to March 2024, Sekou served as Team Leader at AMBERO Consulting GmbH, where the development and piloting of a Digital Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System in Cameroon were overseen, addressing significant challenges in civil status registration for citizens. With extensive experience as a project manager and consultant in governance and decentralization, Sekou held various roles including Technical Advisor at GIZ GmbH and Sustainability Analyst at Ingeus GmbH. Sekou has completed advanced education in social sciences from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Goethe University Frankfurt, alongside certifications from the Akademie für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
