Moritz Otterbach is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Investments at amberra since April 2023. Previously, Moritz co-founded buya.de, holding that position from August 2020 until March 2023. Moritz spent over a decade at Berenberg, working from January 2009 to December 2022 in various roles, including Leiter Kompetenzzentrum für Family Offices and Relationship Manager in Wealth Management. Moritz’s career began at Deutsche Apotheker- und Ärztebank, where Moritz completed training as a Bankkaufmann from August 2001 to May 2003. Moritz holds a Diplom in Volkswirtschaftslehre from the University of Münster (2003-2008), a Private Banker degree from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht (2010-2011), and attended San Diego State University in 2006.
