Suresh Samuel

Suresh Samuel is the current Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Lendable. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Capital Markets at Tala from February 2018 to January 2020, where they were responsible for the company's global capital market activities, including setting debt strategy, leading relationships with investors, and executing on debt capital raising.

Before Tala, Suresh worked at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation from January 2010 to December 2018 as Managing Director. In this role, they were responsible for leading the team that managed a $2.5 billion real estate portfolio and directed investments totaling over $1 billion.

Suresh began their career in 2007 as a Senior Associate at Scala Real Estate Partners. Suresh worked there for two years before moving on to the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.

Suresh Samuel completed their MBA in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School and their BA in Business Economics and Accounting with a minor in Professional Writing from UC Santa Barbara.

Suresh Samuel reports to Daniel Goldfarb, Co-Founder, CEO. They work with Dylan Fried - Co-Founder, CTO & Chief Risk Officer, Mark Bruny - Head of Capital Markets, and Rugile Gurrieri - Head of Risk.
