Birk Smith

Birk Smith is a Mechanical Systems Engineer at Ambi Robotics since August 2023, following experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Calfee Design, where Birk prototyped an electric motorcycle for developing countries and manufactured parts using manual and CNC mills and lathe. Additionally, Birk interned at Archer Components and served as an Inspector at KBA, Inc. Construction Management in two separate roles, where documentation of construction progress and tracking quantities of materials were key responsibilities. Birk holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned in 2022.
