CEO at Ambient Clinical Analytics

Al Berning is currently the CEO of Ambient Clinical Analytics, a position they have held since December 2014. Prior to this, they were a consultant for AJB Global Services from April 2012 to December 2014. Before that, they were the CEO of LiquidCool Solutions from July 2007 to April 2012, where they led the work to launch the product and set-up the company’s facility, as well as raised $14M in angel and venture funding.

From June 1994 to March 2007, Berning was the CEO of PEMSTAR, which they founded in 1994. In 2000, they led the company’s IPO on NASDAQ. PEMSTAR provided engineering, product design, manufacturing, and fulfillment services to customers on a global basis through 10 facilities located in North America, Asia, and Europe. The company supported companies in the Industrial Equipment, Medical, Communications, Computing and Data Storage markets. In 2007, PEMSTAR merged with Benchmark Electronics.

Al Berning has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from St. Cloud State University and an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering from St. Cloud State University.
