James Drees PMP, CSM

James Drees is an experienced professional who has held various roles in sales operations, project management, and program management.

Starting from their most recent position, James worked as the Senior Director of Sales Operations at Ambient Photonics since 2023.

Prior to that, they worked as a Senior IT Project Manager at Poly from 2018 to 2022. In this role, James managed software project teams and implemented Agile and SDLC methodologies for enterprise applications on Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Communities sites. Additionally, they oversaw the integration of custom API integrations from Oracle to Salesforce.

From 2017 to 2018, James served as the Director of Sales Operations at LeanData, Inc.

Before that, they held the position of Director of Sales Operations at Santa Cruz Nutritionals from 2016 to 2017. In this role, James led a team of account managers and was responsible for KPI reporting and customer dispute resolution.

From 2014 to 2016, James worked as the Director of Sales and Operations at Sandbar Solar & Electric. Here, they led the residential sales and marketing team and was directly responsible for the company's Salesforce platform.

Prior to that, James held multiple roles at Seagate Technology from 2008 to 2014. These included Senior Project Manager and Senior Program Manager, where they managed global Salesforce implementations, launched pipeline management platforms, and led cross-functional teams in data integration.

From 2003 to 2008, James served as a Program Manager at Affymetrix. In this role, they managed CRM infrastructure projects and played a key role in marketing automation and CRM/SFA deployments.

Finally, from 1999 to 2002, James worked as a Program Manager at BMC Software, where they managed lead generation programs within the Marcom group.

James Drees is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

James Drees PMP, CSM completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from California State University, Chico. James attended the university from 1986 to 1989.

In terms of additional certifications, James Drees obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2022. James also obtained the Certified Salesforce Administrator certification from Salesforce in March 2018. Additionally, they obtained the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from the Scrum Alliance in December 2022.
