Jamie Thompson

Jamie Thompson has a diverse and extensive work experience in mechanical engineering. They began their career at Innergy Power Corporation in 1993 as a Mechanical Engineer and worked there until 2000. From 2000 to 2015, Thompson owned and worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Sciarini Design. In 2015, they joined Smith & Vandiver as an Engineering Manager/Mechanical Engineer and worked until 2017. Thompson then moved to SV Labs as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in 2017. In 2022, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Jamie Thompson. Currently, Thompson holds the position of Senior Mechanical Process Engineer at Ambient Photonics since 2023.

Jamie Thompson attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
