Sammaiah Thota

Sammaiah Thota has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field since 2004. Sammaiah began as a Senior Chemist (R&D, Medicinal Chemistry Division) at GVK Biosciences in 2004 and then moved to Dr.Reddy's Laboratories Ltd as a Research Associate (R&D, Process Chemistry Division) in 2006. In 2007, they became a Graduate Student at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and then a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Scientist at the same institution from 2012 to 2017. Since 2019, they have been a Co-founder and Staff Scientist at Ambient Photonics, Inc.

Sammaiah Thota obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Osmania University in 2004.
