Heikki Metsäpuro

Heikki Metsäpuro has a diverse range of work experience. Heikki started their career in 1996 as a System Analyst at Novo Group Oyj and worked there until 2000. Heikki then joined AAC Global Oy as a Specialist from 2000 to 2004. Heikki then moved to Microsoft Mobile Oy where they worked as a Lead Developer in Localisation Solutions from 2004 to 2015. After that, they co-founded Bluehawke Oy and worked there as a Cofounder from 2015 to 2017. In 2013, they started their own company, SoftLightWare Oy, where they worked as the Owner, focusing on consulting for a localization software project as well as mobile application projects. Currently, they are working as a Software Developer at Ambientia, starting in 2018.

Heikki Metsäpuro completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master's Programme in Computer Science at the University of Tampere from 2002 to 2019. Heikki'sfield of study was Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Heikki has also obtained certifications in Java Fundamentals, Parts 1 and 2, as well as in What's New in Java 8, from Pluralsight in May 2015.
