Mikko Kotsalo

Mikko Kotsalo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mikko began their career as an IT Trainee at Parker Hannifin in 2012. Mikko then worked as a Telecommunications Specialist at Cinia Group, where they were responsible for network monitoring and management. In 2015, Mikko joined HAMK Häme University of Applied Sciences as a Research Assistant, where they contributed to the development of the Smart Services research unit and supervised student projects. Mikko also worked as a teaching assistant in various technology-related subjects. From 2017, Mikko has been working at Ambientia, initially as a Junior Software Developer and currently as a Software Developer. Mikko has gained experience in hybrid mobile applications, Spring-boot, OpenShift, Angular, and WordPress, and they closely collaborate with customers using agile principles to provide valuable technological solutions. Overall, Mikko's work experience demonstrates their versatility and expertise in various technology-related roles.

Mikko Kotsalo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, Mikko completed their Finnish Matriculation Examination at Väinö Linnan Lukio from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Mikko has also acquired additional certifications. In March 2017, they received the "Introduction to ThingWorx 7.2" certification from PTC. Furthermore, in October 2019, Mikko obtained the "Scrum Master Certified (SMC)" designation from the Scrum Alliance.
