Robert Obermann

Robert Obermann's work experience begins in 1996 when they worked as a Research Technician at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Peptide Synthesis Core. Robert was responsible for utilizing recombinant technology to create cloning and expression plasmids and performing various techniques such as enzymatic digestion of DNA and PCR techniques. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Senior Research Technician at the same institution, focusing on structural analysis of viral proteins. Their responsibilities included protein expression, purification, and analysis using various techniques. From 2006 to 2012, Obermann held the role of Senior Research Technician and was involved in synthesizing peptides and developing high-throughput assays for biological compound identification. Robert also worked in the Biologic Therapy Core as a Senior Research Technician from 2012 to 2013, where they operated a cleanroom pharmaceutical facility and manufactured therapeutics for human administration. In 2014, they became the Operations Manager at the Peptide Synthesis Core, where they developed synthetic strategies for peptide synthesis and screened crude products. In 2015, Obermann joined AAPPTec as a Sales Specialist, and in 2018, they transitioned to AmbioPharm as a Preclinical Sales Representative. In 2020, they took on the role of Sales Manager for the Western Region at AmbioPharm.

Robert Obermann obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, completing their studies in 1996. Robert then pursued a Master's Degree in the same field at Washington University in St. Louis, from 2003 to 2006.
